RBW, the management company, announced on the 13th that Mamamoo's hip regular music video surpassed 300 million YouTube views around 2pm the previous day.
This song was released in November 2019 as the title track of Mamamoo's 2nd full-length album, and it has surpassed 300 million views in two years.
RBW explained, “This is the best performance among Mamamoo’s music videos.
‘Hip’ is a song that combines rhythmic brass and string sounds, and features an addictive melody. It contains a positive message that you can truly ‘be hip’ (you can become cool) when you fully care for and love yourself without being conscious of the gaze of others.
On the other hand, Mamamoo is a 4-member South Korean girl group under RBW that debuted on June 19, 2014. Although they are a girl group, they have been loved by the public since their debut for their outstanding singing, dancing and stage performances.
