Blackpink is a South Korean girl group formed by YG Entertainment, consisting of members Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa. 

They are the first female group to be signed to YG Entertainment since 2NE1's debut. 

The group debuted on August 8, 2016 with "Square One". 

The name of the band was suggested by YG Entertainment founder Yang Hyun-suk, who chose it based on the members' personalities.


The members of Blackpink are all trained dancers, with Jennie being a former trainee of YG Entertainment for seven years.

Twice rose to fame in 2016 with their single "Cheer Up", the lead single from their first extended play (EP) of the same name.

The song was a commercial success, topping the Gaon Digital Chart and becoming the best-performing single of the year.

Girls Generation

Girls Generation is a South Korean girl group formed by S.M. Entertainment in 2007. 

The group is composed of nine members: Taeyeon, Sunny, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona, Seohyun.

 Girls' Generation has been one of the most successful girl groups in Asia. 

They are known for their fresh concept, which incorporates a variety of styles from cute to sexy to powerful performances.

Girls Generation is known for their dance routines.

Apink

Apink is a South Korean girl group formed by Plan A Entertainment in 2011.

Apink made their debut on April 19, 2011 with the mini-album "Seven Springs of Apink".

Apink's first single album "Une Annee" was released on October 12, 2012.
