K-pop and anime have been around for a long time, but they've only recently become a huge part of the American pop culture. I'm here to tell you about the basics of both, so you can see which one might be more your style.
Kpop
Kpop is a genre of music that originated in South Korea. It is a type of pop music, but with elements from hip-hop, rap, and rock music. Kpop is often called the Korean Wave because it has become popular in many other countries. The word "Kpop" was first used in the 1990s to describe this genre of music.
Anime
If you're looking for a show that has a good balance of action, romance, and humor, look no further than "Gurren Lagann." It's an anime about two childhood friends who end up piloting a giant mecha. The problem is that the mecha is powered by human beings.
Cosplay
Cosplay is the act of dressing up as a character from anime, manga, or other pop culture. It's a form of performance art and can be seen at conventions, anime clubs, and in online communities. The term "cosplay," which is short for "costume play," comes from "costume" and "play." The costumes are often homemade and represent characters from popular manga and anime.
Manga
The word "manga" is a Japanese word that loosely translates to "comic books." Manga has been around for centuries and is still popular today. It is a style of illustration and storytelling that features both text and images. The text is usually written in a bubble or dialogue box, and the images are drawn in the background or as a panel. The story will usually be about a young male protagonist who is usually an underdog or outcast. He will then go on a journey to defeat an opponent, solve a mystery, or find something he needs. The protagonist will always have a group of friends to help him along the way, and there will always be a love interest as well.
Fandoms
It’s not unusual for K-pop and anime fans to join fandoms. A fan is someone who has a deep interest in something and often tries to learn as much as they can about it. This could be anything from a favorite movie, TV show, or book to a certain genre of music or even a type of animal. Fandoms may be small or large and many people may share the same interest. For example, there are K-pop and anime fandoms.
J-pop
J-pop is an abbreviation of Japanese pop music, a genre of music originating in Japan. J-pop has spread to many Asian countries as well as the Americas, Europe, and Oceania. It is characterized by a variety of audiovisual elements. The most common are singing, dancing, and live bands.
C-pop
C-pop, or Chinese pop music, is music from the Chinese-speaking world. C-pop is a broad term that encompasses many different types of music, but it can be divided into two major categories: Mandopop and Cantopop. Mandopop is based on Western instruments, while Cantopop is based on Western and traditional Chinese instruments. C-pop has been influenced by Japanese pop music, called J-pop, as well as Korean pop music, called K-pop.
